BARN OWL, LOWER MAINLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA

 As darkness sets in over the farmlands just outside the city of Vancouver, a ghostly male Barn Owl exits the hayloft
of a derelict barn to begin its nightly hunt. This photograph is a single exposure with minimal post processing.
During a long exposure, a LIDAR sensor was tripped by the owl, triggering a single flash set to a very low power.
