A Bobcat moves through a talus cave in a mountainous region of British Columbia’s Southern Interior.
While exploring on foot, I came upon a collection of house-sized blocks that had cleaved off an overhead cliff face and settled atop one another to form a series of caves and passageways. Seemed like the kind of place a Bobcat wouldn’t be able to resist investigating. Sure enough, about 10 weeks after setting up a camera trap, this beautiful animal passed by, two days before a Black Bear knocked my gear out of place.
