Humboldt’s Squirrel Monkey, Ecuador

As I pass by in a canoe, a young Humboldt’s Squirrel Monkey pauses to inspect me from the forest bordering an oxbow lake, deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon. After a few moments, it was scolded my members of its troop and quickly returned to join them.
